  A locator is a device that determines location based on sim card communication.
 There are people locators, pet locators, vehicle locators and more. All locators require a sim card to be inserted. 

The connector that holds the sim card is the sim card connector, also known as the sim card holder.
Usually the locator will design the sim card holder inside the locator, and it is necessary to remove the 

shell of the locator to replace the sim card. For the convenience of replacing the sim card, some locators will use a 

drawer-type sim card connector to be installed on the case.
 The drawer-type sim card connector generally has a locking function to prevent the sim card from falling due to vibration. 

However, the drawer-type structure requires openings in the case, which is not conducive to the waterproof of the locator, 

and requires a transparent rubber cover on the case to increase the waterproof level.
